Let’s Meet!
I would love to come speak at your school! With Covid numbers down, I am now available for in-person (or virtual) visits! I can share the story behind A Dinosaur Named Ruth and inspire your students to write their own books.
I’ve developed two presentations:
• The Story Behind the Story (for K-4 students) — why I wrote the book, how I researched it and how kids can be as curious as Ruth Mason.
• A Writing Workshop (for 4th and 5th grade) — how a book grows from idea to publication and how kids can write persuasive letters or stories about their own backyard treasure.
Author visits last between 45 to 60 minutes and include lots of time for kids’ questions. Plus: bookmarks, coloring sheets and a teacher’s guide!
In-person visit in the Salt Lake Valley - $250
Virtual visit anywhere - $100
